Fuel efficiency
Fuel efficiency is important to reduce both CO2 emissions and the cost of driving. The difference between each category means a reduction or increase in fuel consumption of 3-4%.Wet grip/Breaking performance
Wet grip is a critical safety feature. Tyres are rated A - E; A being the shortest braking distances in the wet. The difference in category can mean an extra car length (3-6 meters) on the stopping distance.Noise emission/Exterior noise
There are three ratings for noise: A, B and C.A produces the least external noise levels, whilst C produces the highest.
Bridgestone W995 is a tire designed for extreme winter conditions (designed for snow and ice). The tread pattern is very similar to the W810 tire, but the W995 tire is equipped with a special winter compound called Multicell. The Multicell Tube compound absorbs the water film and ensures contact between the tire and the surface of the ice. We recommend this tire for areas with year-round snow coverage.
The most important features and characteristics are:
- Optimal grip on ice and snow.
- Safe tire, ideal for driving on snow.
- Durable construction.
- 3PMSF (3 Peak Mountain Snowflake) marking.
