Fuel efficiency
Fuel efficiency is important to reduce both CO2 emissions and the cost of driving. The difference between each category means a reduction or increase in fuel consumption of 3-4%.Wet grip/Breaking performance
Wet grip is a critical safety feature. Tyres are rated A - E; A being the shortest braking distances in the wet. The difference in category can mean an extra car length (3-6 meters) on the stopping distance.Noise emission/Exterior noise
There are three ratings for noise: A, B and C.A produces the least external noise levels, whilst C produces the highest.
DUNLOP SPORT MAXX TT is developed for powerful sports cars. The tread compound, developed for racing cars, offers a high level of grip, precise braking, and reduced wear. Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX TT utilizes Dupont's Kevlar technology, thereby enhancing performance to a higher level. The sidewalls are stiffer due to this compound, resulting in greater steering precision. The asymmetric tread pattern of the tire efficiently distributes pressure throughout the tire, improving handling in both wet and dry conditions. The seamless JLB belt technology, Hybrid Overlay, reduces circumferential deformation at high speeds, improving stability and even wear. Some sizes feature the MFS rim protection system. Key features and characteristics include: precise steering thanks to DuPont Kevlar technology, excellent handling, outstanding grip and braking, and improved resistance against aquaplaning.
