The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tire provides excellent grip, shorter braking distances on wet roads, and reduced fuel consumption. A tire with optimal balance of wet grip and rolling resistance throughout its entire lifespan. The tire has low rolling resistance thanks to a new compound in the tread base area, reducing heat generation in the lower sidewall during tire rolling, meaning less energy dissipation in the deformation phase. Continuous circumferential ribs increase stiffness during sharp turns, allowing for better tire response to applied forces = excellent vehicle control and handling. WearControl technology - shorter braking distance on wet roads and lower fuel consumption. ActiveBraking technology - innovative 3D arrangement of blocks on the tread increases the contact area with the road during braking = shorter braking distances on both wet and dry roads.
