Fuel efficiency
Fuel efficiency is important to reduce both CO2 emissions and the cost of driving. The difference between each category means a reduction or increase in fuel consumption of 3-4%.Wet grip/Breaking performance
Wet grip is a critical safety feature. Tyres are rated A - E; A being the shortest braking distances in the wet. The difference in category can mean an extra car length (3-6 meters) on the stopping distance.Noise emission/Exterior noise
There are three ratings for noise: A, B and C.A produces the least external noise levels, whilst C produces the highest.
HANKOOK K127A Ventus S1 evo3 SUV - a high-performance SUV tire preferred by leading car manufacturers. Tread grooves: Outer tread grooves ensure good wet grip and prevent aquaplaning on smooth surfaces. Very stiff outer shoulder: The outer tread blocks and shoulder area of the tire have been enlarged to concentrate high load and pressure when cornering. Maximum cornering grip is ensured by a reinforcing belt with dual function, which provides a flat contact patch under all conditions. Additionally, separate grooves on the inner tread blocks effectively distribute the load for SUV vehicles. Thanks to this balanced construction of the inner and outer blocks, dry handling has improved by 6%. Sidewall construction: The sidewall is designed to provide even higher stiffness of the tread blocks, improve heat dissipation, airflow, and driving comfort.
Key features and characteristics:
